After a regular cleaning of LimeStone Studios pictures of
past performances, studio sessions and musicians that once
rolled through surfaced. It was good times, great vibes, important
learning curves, life stories and ground breaking music. It
was real, it was deep, it was Life Unscripted.
A thought came along... What fans hear and see are the final
result of a song, music video or performance. But the story
and the inspiration behind the making of a song is equally
important as the song itself. Very few people ever see this
side, the dark side: The meticulous writing and re-writing.
The 100 take recording session. The struggle of making it in
an industry that requires you to leave your artistic expression
at the door in order to develop an image that can be molded
into the cookie cut industry. The genre that is considered
dead and the challenge of making people believe again. (Plus
performances, video shoots, interviews, musical guests, thought
patterns, schedules, networking...all while trying to live
life).
