Music
People like free stuff.

Our EPK (Electric, Press Kit), Screen Savers, DeskTop Backgrounds and of course music (singles and albums).

A close friend and musical colleague of ours Kevlaar always told us not to put out songs from the past because of the recording quality. LimeStone was new and we were still learning. For awhile we considered it but with the Internet and companies like iTunes & CD Baby Indie artists were given an opportunity to shine.

So we released all our old stuff, stuff that should of been out when it was officially completed. No doubt quality matters but we are all hip-hop heads. We listen to our hip-hop music in cars with blown out speakers, tape decks that eat tapes and walk-mans with a short in the head phones. Never the less we'll still nod our head and still play it as loud as it will go. That being said, even though the quality of previous songs or albums may not be as good as current songs they still need to be heard because that's our past, that's what defines us and makes us who we are as musicians today.

People need to see our growth to fully appreciate our current music...

Description for BlackSunz - Eklyptic Cypha (1997)

1997 was the year of MC's for LimeStone Studios. Word of mouth spread about aLLeYNe and his studio. aLLeYNe was not to keen on business, and allowed MC's to come and record. He & Kevlaar did a lot of music production which helped the community but didn't earn him any money. BlackSunz was a product of that era. Probably inspired by Wu-Tang Clan, aLLeYNe &
Kevlaar formed the group.

The main players were: aLLeYNe, tEMuS, Kevlaar, Kray Zee (now known as 7), Sherrkaan (no known as Snagg), Drea and Byron Armstrong (Shifty Karma) Every one with the exception of Drea (who went into singing) till this day, still work together on each others projects. When together they form S.I.N. (Strength In Numbers). As for the rest of the of the guests, who knows where they are. No one was pushing beamers and benzies so they all moved on...

We wonder if they're pushing beamers and benzies now?

These are also free songs (singles) from 1996 when temus and alleyne first started rapping together...
